Varnish in Web Hosting
We offer Varnish as an optional upgrade with each web hosting and if you want to use it, you can add it to your account using the Upgrades menu in your Hepsia Control Panel. There’re two different things that can be upgraded – the number of instances and the memory. The first one pertains to the number of the sites that you want to use Varnish for, whereas the second, which is offered in increments of 32 MB, refers to the maximum amount of content that the content caching platform can cache at any particular moment. The Hepsia Control Panel’s user-friendly graphical interface will permit you to delete or to reboot any instance, to see exhaustive system logs or to erase the platform’s cache with just a click. For best results, you can use a dedicated IP address for the websites that will use the platform. With Varnish, your site will open much faster, meaning more pleased site users and prospective customers.
Varnish in Semi-dedicated Hosting
The Varnish content caching platform is included in the standard set of services that you will receive when you choose to host your sites under a semi-dedicated server account. You can activate it for any of your websites via our avant-garde Hepsia hosting Control Panel. The default amount of system memory that Varnish can use to cache content is 64 MB, but in case you decide that you need more, you can upgrade this memory from the Upgrades section of the Control Panel. You can also upgrade the Varnish instances, i.e. the number of the websites that can use this platform simultaneously. As these two things are not tied to each other, you can use a few sites with the default memory or you can add more memory in increments of 32 MB and use all of it for a single site. The Varnish caching platform performs best when you set a dedicated IP for the websites that utilize its power. Hepsia will give you an easy means of rebooting any instance. Furthermore, you’ll be able to delete the cached contents with just one single click.
Varnish in VPS
You can use the load balancing potential of Varnish with each of our Linux VPS in case you select Hepsia as your hosting Control Panel. The Varnish content caching platform is available by default and the memory that it will be able to utilize to cache your site content is dependent on the given VPS plan that you have picked, but even with the lower-end plans, you’ll have no less than several hundred MB of memory at your disposal solely for content caching purposes. This amount is sufficient enough to optimize the overall performance of multiple Internet sites. It will take a little time for you to observe the effects, as the Varnish platform caches the content that site visitors open, but shortly thereafter you will notice the considerably decreased load on your virtual machine and the accelerated site load speed. The Varnish caching platform will allow you to use a less powerful package for websites that would usually need a more expensive web hosting solution.
Varnish in Dedicated Hosting
You can use Varnish to enhance the load speed of any website that is hosted on a dedicated server from us if the Hepsia Control Panel is pre-installed on the machine. Not only will you get the data caching platform ready for use at no additional cost, but you will also have total control over it through Hepsia’s simple-to-use interface. It will take just one mouse click to start or cancel an instance or to delete the cached data for any website that is using the Varnish platform and in case you’re more proficient, you can also see the platform’s logs. Varnish comes with at least three gigabytes of memory for content caching purposes, so even if you host a lot of Internet sites on your dedicated server and they all use the Varnish caching platform, the difference in their performance will be distinguishable. You will just need to wait for a little while till Varnish caches whatever web pages the website visitors browse on their end. The platform performs best if the sites use a dedicated IP, but since our dedicated servers include 3 free-of-charge IPs, you’ll have all that you need.
