Multiple OS in VPS
Our virtual private server packages come with three Linux releases which you could select from for the Operating System of your new web server - Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. Apart from being absolutely free, the OSs are extremely stable and secure and the primary reason to offer all 3 of them is to ensure that you'll be able to run any kind of application that you'd like, because different pieces of software have different requirements in terms of the environment they can be used on. Each of the three OSs is backed by a vast community of web developers who have made thousands of software packages that you can set up and use on your VPS. Depending on the Operating System which you select, you will also be able to select between 3 different Control Panels to control your website hosting content. Needless to say, should you decide that you need a different OS, we can always re-install the server with it. As an additional upgrade, we also provide weekly updates of the OS for optimum stability and security.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server solutions - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are free and they won't increase the low price of your new server, but also because they are exceptionally stable and secure. Each one of them is backed up by a big community of developers, so you'll be given the option to choose from thousands of software packages that you can install on your server if the app that you would like to work with has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with particular OSs only and since we would like to give you as much flexibility as possible, we offer a couple of OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you choose a server with a certain OS, we could change it upon request if it turns out that you need a different one. We can also keep your OS updated on a weekly basis as part of the additional Managed Services upgrade.
